An error occurred in the grouping of the photographs for Fig. 5 on page 1632 in the December 1963 issue of The Journal in the article Use of a Hinged Vitallium Prosthesis for Arthroplasty of the Knee: A Preliminary Report by H. Herman Young. That which is labeled the original version of the Shiers prosthesis at the top of the illustration is the modified version and should have been placed at the bottom of the figure; conversely, that which is labeled the modified version at the bottom of the figure is the original version and should have been placed at the top of the illustration.
