Abstract

Editor of Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery:

In a recent article published by me in your Journal in the October issue of 1923 on Obstetric Birth Paralysis I made the following statement: "About exercises: Those advocated by J. J. Thomas of Boston seem to answer the purpose well." etc.

I have recently learned from Miss M. E. Trainor that it was Miss Jennie N. Colby who first instituted these exercises. In justice to Miss Colby I wish to make this correction in your Journal.
