Mr. President, Distinguished Guests, Members, and Friends, I wanted to speak today on a topic that would be meaningful to each of you. Then I thought . . . , past presidents, young members, seasoned leaders, friends, guests, industrial partners, distinguished foreign presidents, spouses, family . . . , now, that’s a tough crowd . . . , oh, and my parents too . . . , now, that’s a really tough crowd. But as I was relating a story last year to a dear friend and colleague, he said, “That’s a perfect topic for your Presidential Address.” And I hope that, in a few minutes, you will all agree.
