The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery is pleased to announce the debut of our Web site, www.jbjs.org.
The site's pages cover the Editorial, Subscription, and Advertising Departments, as well as the history of The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, and contain hyperlinks to the sites of the British Volume. The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. The American Orthopaedic Association, and the Orthopaedic Research Society.
In the Editorial section, the Table of Contents of the forthcoming issue of The Journal, hyperlinked to Abstracts for articles that are accompanied by an abstract in the printed volume, will be updated as soon as the final copy for The Journal is released to the printer and thus will be available before issues are mailed. The News Notes also will be current.
The Subscription area provides information on all of our publications and a form with which to request an invoice for one or more of the products. Additionally, information on the availability of back issues can be requested, and we have supplied information on where to purchase or sell collections of The Journal. The section on Advertising provides advertising-related information about the publications.
Like all Web sites, ours is a work in progress. The material on the site is intended to answer the most common questions and address the most frequently raised issues of our readers. The content will continue to change to reflect your needs and to match advances in this, the so-called information age.
We solicit your comments and feedback, by e-mail to edit@jbjs.org. by fax to (617) 449-9787, or by letter mail.
