All CME activities consist of four elements:
- Reading the Journal with sufficient thoroughness to understand the major conclusions presented in each scientific article, and certain review articles
- Passing an examination to evaluate the thoroughness of your understanding of the Journal's contents
- Reviewing the post-examination explanations of the preferred answers
- Completing the evaluation form
Vouchers
The charge for the Online Quarterly CME is $85 per quarter (10 vouchers), or $320 per year (40 vouchers). The charge for each Subspecialty CME Activity is $34 (4 vouchers). Vouchers for CME activities must be purchased prior to claiming credit for any CME Activity.

The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons designates these enduring materials for a maximum of 10 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for the quarterly exam and a maximum of 4 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for each subspecialty exam. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
