The scientific exhibits were graded by the AAOS Exhibits Committee on the basis of their content, presentation, and overall value to our specialty. This year, the Committee reviewed 257 abstracts, of which eighty-nine were selected to be presented at the Annual Meeting. Publication of the following eighteen selected exhibits highlights these outstanding projects and gives the readers of The Journal an opportunity to review the innovative surgical techniques, basic-science research, and outstanding long-term clinical studies presented in this format at the meeting. The Exhibits Committee has seen an increase in submissions for exhibits and believes that the publication by The Journal of the best projects has stimulated this increase over the years.
