Presented here is a long-term follow-up of what is believed to be the first case of a physeal bar excision of an epiphysis documenting a gain in longitudinal length, and the first with long-term follow-up on a patient who had reached maturity. The long-term result was unchanged and durable in adulthood. The patient gave permission for this information to be submitted for publication.
