The list of the 123 giants of our profession who have served in this role before me is truly awe-inspiring. I respect each of these individuals immensely for their contributions to our profession and I especially cherish and am eternally grateful to the handful from whom I have had the great fortune of receiving mentorship. I feel honored to have the opportunity to add my thoughts and comments to theirs, yet decidedly inadequate to live up to their legacies. Thus, it is with equal measures of excitement and trepidation that I speak this morning.
